Cyber Fire Puzzles (Fall 2025)

Join us this Fall semester at Auburn University for the exciting Cyber Fire Puzzles event, hosted in collaboration with Los Alamos National Laboratory! This two-day team competition focuses on solving challenging problems in logic, cybersecurity, computer science, and mathematics. Problems are organized by topic, helping you progressively build your skills and knowledge.
Who Can Join?
Anyone affiliated with a higher-level academic institution is welcome to participate! We encourage students and faculty/staff from Auburn and other universities to join us. All skill levels are welcome!
Event Schedule
- Friday, August 22nd: Evening Kick-Off (Dinner provided) – 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM CST
- Saturday, August 23rd: Competition Day 1 (Lunch & Dinner provided) – 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM CST
- Sunday, August 24th: Competition Day 2 (Lunch provided) – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
Team Information
The competition is team-based. While you can participate individually, we recommend teams of 3-6 members for optimal learning and scoring potential. The maximum team size is 6 participants.
If you would prefer assistance in finding a team, just let any one of the officers know. We'd gladly help you find a team to join.
Location
The event will take place at Auburn University's Brown-Kopel Engineering Student Achievement Center (Rooms BK2143, BK2151, & BK2157).
Parking Information
Weekend parking is readily available. We recommend the Magnolia lot near Chick-fil-A or the Lowder lot.

Cost & Registration
- Early Registration (by August 21st at noon): $30 (EHC paying members: $25)
- Late Registration (after August 21st at noon): $35
